Dr. Kate Tackett
Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Kate Tackett holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in psychology and a doctorate in naturopathic medicine (ND). Growing up in a lineage of females who believed in and practiced natural medicine within her family, using natural medicine comes naturally to Dr, Kate.

She always knew she wanted to be in medicine. Her love for understanding human behavior and psychology led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology, which was a natural and obvious choice.

Her upbringing revolved around integrative medicine, blending traditional and non-traditional approaches. Her passion for natural medicine naturally led her to pursue postgraduate studies in naturopathic medicine.

With a background in the pharmaceutical and natural supplement industry, Dr, Kate gained extensive knowledge and experience with different supplement companies, formulations, safety, and applications.

Stepping into private practice, she founded The Shot Bar & Pill Shop in 2015, expanding her expertise from oral nutrients to injectable ones through offering innovative vitamin injection cocktails.

Dr. Kate is a licensed and insured naturopathic doctor (ND) specializing in digestion and mental health. Graduating with a BA in psychology from the University of Oregon (cum laude) in 1999, she further obtained her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2005. Prior to entering private practice, she worked in the supplement industry.

Dr. Kate's holistic therapy practice blends diverse therapeutic approaches, fostering a strong mental connection with her clients. By providing a safe, trusting environment, she enables clients to express themselves freely.

Specializing in lab testing for comprehensive digestive analysis, anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental-emotional hurdles, she tailors treatment plans based on personalized testing results.

Furthermore, her expertise extends to healing digestive distress such as IBS, constipation, diarrhea, pain, infection, GERD, gas, and bloating and expands into mental health - namely anxiety and depression and the relationship between gut and brain well known as the gut-brain axis.
